These Terms of Use describe the terms under which wpggLabs makes the FinishDose app and related website available. By using FinishDose, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
1. What FinishDose does
FinishDose is a local-first reminder and tracking tool for finite medication courses. It can help you create schedules, record what you logged, manage optional device reminders, and export information you choose to share. The app does not require an account and does not provide a FinishDose cloud service.
2. Not medical advice
FinishDose is not a medical device and is not medical advice. It does not diagnose, prescribe, check interactions, determine whether a dose should be taken, or replace a doctor, pharmacist, caregiver, medicine label, or emergency service. Do not use the app to make a time-critical medical decision. For questions about a medicine or a missed dose, contact a qualified professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency service.
3. Your responsibility
- Check every course, amount, time, and profile before saving it.
- Keep your device time, notification permissions, alarm permissions, and battery settings appropriate for the reminders you choose.
- Do not rely on a notification as the only safeguard for a medicine or health decision.
- Keep exported backups private and maintain a copy before uninstalling or resetting a device.
4. Local data and exports
Course records and settings are stored on your device as described in the Privacy Policy. You control whether to export or share a backup, PDF, CSV, or other file through your device. Exported backups are intentionally portable and are not encrypted by FinishDose; you are responsible for the places where you save or share them.
5. Reminders and availability
Reminders depend on the operating system, notification permissions, alarm permissions, device time, power management, and other settings outside wpggLabs’ control. We do not promise that every reminder will be delivered, displayed, audible, or available at a particular time. Features may change, be paused, or be discontinued to maintain safety, security, or compatibility.
6. Acceptable use
You may use FinishDose only lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with the app, the website, other users, or the systems that provide them. Do not reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where applicable law permits it, attempt to bypass security, abuse a store or hosting service, or use the website to send unlawful or harmful material.
7. Ownership
FinishDose, its software, visual design, text, marks, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to wpggLabs and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, personal, revocable right to use the app and website; they do not transfer ownership.
8. Disclaimers and limits
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FinishDose and the website are provided without promises that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or suitable for a particular health purpose. wpggLabs is not responsible for a missed, delayed, duplicated, incorrect, or unavailable reminder, for data lost from a device or backup, or for decisions made using the app. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Changes
We may update these terms when the app, website, law, or safety guidance changes. The current version and its effective date will be posted on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law.
