FinishDose tracks finite medication courses locally on your device. For app help, email wpgglabs@gmail.com.

Back up before reinstalling

Open Settings → Backup → Export data. Save the JSON file somewhere private. A reinstall removes local app data unless you restore a backup.

Restore a backup

Open Settings → Backup → Import data, choose a FinishDose JSON file, review the course count, and confirm. Reminders and App Lock remain off until you enable them on the current device.

Reminders are not arriving

Confirm reminders are enabled in FinishDose and in device Settings. Android devices may also require exact-alarm permission and exemption from aggressive battery restrictions.

Camera or App Lock is unavailable

Both features are optional and requested only when used. Check the FinishDose permissions in device Settings. App Lock also requires enrolled device authentication.

Medical questions

FinishDose cannot advise what medicine to take, how to respond to a missed dose, or whether treatments interact. Contact a doctor, pharmacist, caregiver, poison-control service, or emergency service as appropriate.
